The Best of Kern Concert Tour

     Kern County is home to a talented and diverse mix of musicians. The Arts Council of Kern, with support from the James Irvine Foundation and other sponsors, auditioned 39 of the top applicants to take part in the Best of Kern Concert Tour. On this year-long journey, the musicians will play local venues and be professionally recorded and filmed for a documentary. It’s a chance for Kern County to celebrate its richness of regional music, as well as introduce musicians to venues, promoters and new audiences.
